It was very hard not to be touched by Duncan's back story when we first met him. Having endured a tough upbringing he packed his bags at sixteen and has never looked back. Army life gave him the stability and direction he so badly needed which also suited his introverted personality and so the double knee injury that has forced a break from his military career has been a cruel blow. Currently living with relatives in an overcrowded house and working long unsociable hours to get his life back on track Duncan is proving to be a tenacious and stoic fighter. It's been an absolute delight spending more time getting to know the nineteen-year-old Scot even better and giving him the respect and worship he so richly deserves. His many fans will be glad to know there's lots more Duncan material in the pipeline.
